Medicinal Mushrooms for Cancer Care
Join our free class!
In the last decade, medicinal mushrooms have gained increasing interest for their potential role in cancer care.
With mounting research, rich anecdotal evidence, and a long history of traditional use, medicinal mushrooms are proving to have much to offer the developing field of cancer care.
They can contribute to cancer prevention, recovery, and survivability by supporting the body during treatment, aiding in post-treatment recovery, and potentially reducing the risk of recurrence and symptoms.
In this free 90 minute class, Travis will dive into the world of medicinal mushrooms and discuss several of his favourites that are exceptionally beneficial in cancer care. He will share how and when to work with them safely and effectively.
Whether you are a healthcare provider, patient, or caregiver, this class will provide valuable insights into incorporating medicinal mushrooms as part of an integrative approach to cancer care.
The class will take place on January 23 at 7pm PST over Zoom. You have the option to attend the class live or watch the recording later.
Meet Travis
I am a cancer survivor.
Throughout my cancer journey, I encountered moments of fear and uncertainty, but also moments of profound gratitude and love. During difficult times when I was lacking a north star, the plants reached out and invited me to reach back. They became a guiding light through the darkness, directing me into greater connection with myself, others and the living world around me. I found solace in nature and their healing medicines.
I've come to understand that surviving cancer isn't just about overcoming the disease but about the emotional healing, the connection and support of loved ones, and the acceptance of both the scars and the strength that comes with this journey.
Surviving cancer is more than just a victory over illness; it's a journey of resilience, transformation, and deep self-discovery. For me, it has become my journey to help others along the way, with herbal medicine in hand.
